Bently Nevada 32000-28-05-00-070-03-02 proximity probe housing assembly, part of the 32000 series, is a mounting accessory for radial vibration and key-phase measurement systems on rotating machinery. It supports mounting eddy current probes through the housing.
Note:
For radial measurements, the housing must be rigidly fixed to the bearing housing.
For dual-probe axial displacement measurements, use the 21022 housing instead.
Function & Features
- Housing Material: The housing of the 32000-28-05-00-070-03-02 probe is made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), a high-strength engineering plastic. Stainless steel components are used for threaded connections and fasteners.
- Applicable Probe: Genuine 3300 XL Series Eddy Current Probes. For radial vibration measurements, ensure the housing is securely fixed to the bearing seat.
- Shaft-to-Housing Linkage: When measuring radial vibration, the 32000-28-05-00-070-03-02 probe provides accurate relative vibration signals as long as the machine housing is securely fixed to the bearing.
