Product Description
Honeywell CC-SCMB02 is a memory backup component for the C300 controller series. This component primarily consists of a battery mounting panel and a RAM battery backup module. The battery mounting panel allows the UHIO RAM to be installed within the TDC basic control cabinet. A single RAM battery backup module can provide backup power for up to 1 to 4 C300 controllers.
Note: The CC-SCMB02 is an upgrade kit for protecting controller data security in Honeywell's Experion PKS system (especially in earlier versions or when connected to the TDC 3000 system).

- Protect critical data: CC-SCMB02 battery backup component prevents the C300 controller from losing all runtime data, control logic, and configuration information stored in RAM during a power outage.
- Backup capacity: One CC-SCMB02 battery backup unit can provide backup power for 1 to 4 C300 controllers. Users can determine how many controllers one backup unit should protect based on the number and layout of the controller racks.
- Maintaining controller status: After power is restored by CC-SCMB02, the controller can resume control tasks from the state before the power failure without manual reconfiguration.
