3009 | Tricnoex | Main Processor
Product Description
Triconex 3009 main processor is a module designed for the Tricon v11.x system. It is equipped with a dedicated I/O processor, responsible for data exchange with I/O modules, and adopts a triple module redundant (TMR) architecture.
The TriBus bus (triple redundant communication bus) connects each chassis through the backplane to achieve cross-chassis data synchronization. Its hardware design is based on the high-performance QorIQ P1021 dual-core processor, equipped with multi-level cache, isolated communication bus and multiple diagnostic mechanisms.
Function&Features
- Data synchronization: Input data is collected through the I/O bus, stored in the memory table of the main processor, and synchronized to other MPs through TriBus.
- Fault handling: Modules are automatically isolated, hot-swappable replacement is supported, and the system operates in a downgraded state (fault tolerance mode).
- Comprehensive hardware self-test: firmware memory verification, RAM static test, CPU instruction set and floating-point unit verification.
