Product Description
GE DS200PCCAG7A/DS200PCCAG7ACB is a power connection card that connects the driver's control circuitry to the thyristor (SCR) power bridge. This card provides isolated gate drive pulse signals to the SCR power bridge via a pulse transformer, thereby controlling the SCR's on and off state.
In low- and medium-power controllers, the DS200PCCAG7A's snubber circuits are used to suppress voltage spikes. In high-power controllers, some or all of the snubber circuits may be located elsewhere in the system.
