Product Description
Honeywell CC-PCNT02 is an enhanced model in the C300 controller series, introduced in the R501 version. It primarily addresses the hardware obsolescence issues of the original C300 controller (CC-PCNT01) (such as Spartan-IIE FPGA chips) by upgrading hardware configuration to increase memory capacity and thus support more functions.
Note: This model (CC-PCNT02) is an upgraded version of the earlier CC-PCNT01, which solves the problem of outdated hardware components and provides enhanced memory. It is the mainstream and enhanced model in the current C300 controller series.
Function & Features
- Memory upgrades : The Honeywell CC-PCNT02's main memory has been increased from 32 MB in the CC-PCNT01 to 64 MB.
- Hardware upgrade: The application board chip has been upgraded from the Spartan-IIE FPGA series to the Spartan-3A FPGA series, resolving the obsolescence issue of the first-generation hardware.
- Enhanced feature support: Larger memory allows the CC-PCNT02 to support more advanced function blocks, especially the Profit® Controller and Ethernet interface module (EIC & EIP) function blocks, which are not available in the CC-PCNT01.
