ICS Triplex T8431 is a 24V DC analog input module based on triple module redundant (TMR) architecture. It belongs to the Trusted series and is mainly used in control systems to connect to 40 active field input devices as a current sink for these devices. It supports dynamic adjustment of alarm thresholds and analyzes device operation trends through SOE data.
Function & Features
- Automatic line monitoring: T8431 independently configures the open/short detection function for each channel.
- Programmable voltage threshold: T8431 supports threshold setting based on the ratio of the field power supply voltage (auxiliary input channels must be connected).
- T8431 supports two redundant configurations: Companion Slot (dedicated adjacent slot). SmartSlot (multiple modules share spare slots).
- Front-end visual indication:
- Channel-level LED: green (normal), red (fault).
- Module-level LED: operating mode (Active = green, Standby = blue, Educated = yellow), health status (fault = red flash)
