Product Description
The ABB SPSED01 (SED01) is a digital input module with time synchronization. This module is mainly used to acquire field digital signals and is usually used in conjunction with the SPTKM01 time master module. The SED01 module also receives synchronization information sent by the SPTKM01 module through the time synchronization link, providing timing support for the Sequence of Events function of the BRC controller.
Function & Features
- Master-Slave Time Synchronization: Among multiple SPSED01 modules connected to the same bus, only one module will be configured to enable the time synchronization link receiving function (acting as a "time slave"), responsible for receiving the master's timecode and synchronizing with other modules.
- Communication and Networking: The ABB SPSED01 (SED01) communicates with the controller via the I/O expansion bus. A single bus segment can support a network of up to 64 SPSED01 modules.
- Timestamping: The ABB SPSED01 (SED01) records the switch status changes (from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 0) of each channel and marks them with precise absolute time.
