Product Description
Woodward 9907-252 load sharing module is an electronic control module for generator sets. It is designed only for engines equipped with a 0-5 VDC speed controller.
This module acts as a translator and coordinator, converting Woodward load sharing signals into commands recognizable by non-Woodward governors.Enables non-Woodward brand engine governors to operate with Woodward control systems-Load sharing is possible between units.
Function & Features
- Isochronous Load Sharing: When multiple generators are connected to the grid, the 9907-252 maintains a constant grid frequency and accurately distributes the active load proportionally among the generators. This is the most common mode of grid-connected operation.
- Droop Control: The 9907-252 allows for small frequency fluctuations based on load changes. This is typically used for single-unit operation or when frequency modulation is required.
- Prohibited from installation on engines: The 9907-252 must be installed away from severe engine vibration and high temperatures.
