ABB PM851K01 is a processor unit kit in the AC 800M controller series. The kit includes a PM851A CPU motherboard and complete installation components:
Processor: PM851A CPU (24MHz main frequency, 12MB memory)
Communication interface: 1× Ethernet (CN1, does not support redundancy)
Serial interface: COM3 (RS-232C with modem signal), COM4 (isolated configuration port)
Mounting base: TP830 baseboard (with unique MAC address label)
Terminal components: TB850 (CEX bus terminator), TB807 (ModuleBus terminator)
Power backup: includes memory backup battery (4943013-6)
Fuctions & Features
- PM851K01 has dual serial ports, COM3: standard RS-232C (with MODEM control signal) COM4: isolated configuration port (for tool connection).
- PM851K01 has IP20 protection level, which can protect against a certain degree of dust and foreign objects without additional housing.
