Product Description
IC697CGR935 is a single slot redundant controller of GE Fanuc 90-70 series. It is mainly used for CPU redundancy applications and can be used as a controller in a redundant system. It can be operated remotely or through a three-position RUN/STOP switch.
The LED on the front panel can display the CPU status. It needs to be operated according to specific steps during installation. After the installation is completed and the test is completed, programming can be carried out. After the program is confirmed, the switch can be set to the corresponding operation mode.
Note: IC697CGR935 must be installed in slot 1 of rack 0, otherwise the redundancy function cannot be enabled.
Function & Features
- IC697CGR935 supports two redundancy modes: GHS (single bus redundancy) supports single bus network + redundant controller; GDB (multiple I/O network redundancy) supports single/dual bus configuration.
- Automatic switching: when the main controller fails, the backup controller takes over control without interruption.
- Dedicated battery interface: an external battery is required to maintain memory data (power-off protection).
- Memory protection key switch: prevent accidental program modification (need to manually turn off protection for programming).
