Product Description
ICS Triplex T8830 is a analog input field termination assembly (FTA). It is primarily used to provide terminal connections for various field devices that generate analog input signals.
The voltage generated by the analog signal from the field device across a 250Ω resistor is directly transmitted to the analog input module for signal conversion and processing.
Function & Features
- The T8830 input module connects to the FTA's 40 channels via the 96-pin SK1 connector. The module's SmartSlot (Version 1) signals are also connected to SK1.
- The 96-pin SK2 connector is not used in SmartSlot Version 2 systems.
- The dual DC field power supply is connected via the 5-pin PWR TB terminal block.
- The 40 field input signals use a two-wire connection and are terminated on twelve three-way terminal blocks and two two-way terminal blocks.
