Honeywell TK-FPDXX2 is a power module for the Experion PKS Series-A chassis,This module is also part of the underlying hardware architecture of the Experion PKS process control system.
The primary function of the TK-FPDXX2 power module is to provide DC power to all other input/output (I/O) modules and controller modules inserted into the chassis.
Note: The "TK-" prefix in the TK-FPDXX2 model number indicates that the module has undergone conformal coating treatment.
Function & Features
- Side-mounted: The TK-FPDXX2 power module is directly plugged into the left side of the chassis, instead of occupying a module slot. This allows all the slots in the chassis to be used to install functional modules (such as AI, AO, DI, DO, communication modules, etc.).
- Supports multiple chassis sizes: The TK-FPDXX2 is compatible with five different Series-A chassis sizes: 4, 7, 10, 13, and 17 slots.
- Supports C200 controllers: All CIOM-A I/O modules powered by the TK-FPDXX2 can operate with Honeywell's C200E controller processor.
- Field power separation: The TK-FPDXX2 power supply only provides power to the modules inside the chassis. The loop power connected to the field instruments is typically provided by a separate external auxiliary power supply.
