Woodward 5466-348 is a Netcon SIO Module designed for digital actuator drivers (EM/GS/LQ series) that supports remote monitoring, configuration and control. The module communicates with digital actuator drivers through 3 independent RS-485 ports and is suitable for multiple control modes (network commands, analog input or CAN bus control).
Function & Features
- Active control mode: 5466-348 directly sends position commands (16-bit noise-free high precision) and configuration parameters.
- Hybrid mode: 5466-348 only monitors status or configuration parameters, and position commands are input from the outside (such as 4-20mA or CAN bus).
- Pure monitoring mode: 5466-348 only reads status, and configuration and commands are provided by other interfaces (such as RS-232/CAN).
