ABB BC820K02 CEX-Bus Unit is a device used to expand the CEX-Bus communication port in the control system. It can be connected to the communication interface unit. ABB BC820K02 module supports redundant communication interface and provides the function of splitting CEX-Bus into two independent segments, thereby improving the redundant system and ensuring uninterrupted communication.
Fuctions & Features
- Redundant communication interface support: ABB BC820K02 can connect multiple communication interfaces to CEX-Bus and realize redundant configuration. Even if one communication path fails, the system can still operate, avoiding downtime caused by single point failure.
- Split and expand: ABB BC820K02 CEX-Bus Unit can split CEX-Bus into two independent network segments, each with a maximum length of 200 meters, and each module supports up to 6 CEX-Bus interfaces.
- Support hot swap: ABB BC820K02 CEX-Bus Unit allows modules to be replaced or added during system operation without affecting the normal operation of the system.
- Support external power supply: In addition to obtaining power from the processing unit through CEX-Bus, the ABB BC820K02 module also supports power supply through an external power supply to avoid the impact of a single power supply failure.
