ABB UNS2882A - P, V1 3BHE003855R0001 interface control board is a programmable circuit board based on microcontroller, used for communication and control of various components in the system. It has a line side and an isolated DC side. The line side contains the primary side of the power supply and the relay part for switching AC loads. The low voltage DC side contains the secondary side of the power supply and related loads. The DC side also has functional modules such as thermistor monitoring, DC fan control, damper control, and distributor/display board communication.
Function & Features
- Line Side: UNS2882A-P includes the primary side of the power supply and the relay module, which directly switches the AC load (such as motors and valves). It has MOV (metal oxide varistor) and fuses to protect against lightning strikes or voltage surges (such as protection triggered by nearby lightning).
- Low-voltage DC Side: UNS2882A-P includes the secondary side of the power supply and low-voltage loads, supports thermistor monitoring (temperature protection), DC fan speed regulation, etc.
- Two-way communication: UNS2882A-P supports programmable communication rate (baud rate) and character format, and the firmware can be upgraded to realize data parsing, conversion and forwarding through the microcontroller.
