Product Description
Foxboro FBM201 analog input interface module is part of the Compact 200 series I/O subsystem. It has eight analog input channels and can receive two-wire 0-20 mA DC input signals from analog sensors. It converts the electrical input signals of field sensors and connects them to FCP or ZCP for use in industrial automation and process control systems.
It can complete the signal conversion between the electrical input signals of field sensors and FCP or ZCP. It is installed on the 200 series baseboard and does not require the removal of field device terminal cables, power or communication cables when disassembling/replacing.
Fuctions & Features
The FBM201 implements analog input applications and provides conversion times with configurable parameters such as integration time and rate of change limits.
The FBM201 uses sigma-delta data conversion technology to provide new readings every 25 milliseconds and can also be configured with channel filters to reduce process noise and power line frequency noise.
The FBM201 has terminal assemblies (TAs) that can be connected locally or remotely to field wiring and are also suitable for connecting internal and/or external loop-powered transmitters for each channel.
