Product Description
Honeywell TC-FPCXX2 is a power module for Chassis Series-A, providing multi-voltage output (24V DC, 5V DC, 3.3V DC and 1.2V DC) to power various modules in the chassis (such as I/O modules, controllers, etc.). The input voltage can drop to 16 V per hour when the motor starts, and the maximum duration is 2 minutes. Earlier models have different power ratings, and the total power of all outputs cannot exceed 70 W. The built-in fuse of the module is mainly used to prevent the fire hazard caused by short circuit, and may not protect the power module when overloaded.
Function & Features
- Power planning: TC-FPCXX2 must calculate the total power consumption of all inserted modules to avoid exceeding the 70W upper limit. If the 5V load consumes 20W and the 24V load consumes 40W, the total power consumption of 3.3V and 1.2V must be ≤10W.
- Input voltage fluctuation: TC-FPCXX2 allows a short drop to 16V DC, but frequent drops may affect the life.
- Short-circuit protection design: TC-FPCXX2 has a built-in fuse to prevent fire hazards caused by short circuits, which protects the entire system to a certain extent.
