Product Description

Allen-Bradley 1402-LS51 SER B Line Synchronization Module (LSM) is an intelligent module designed for industrial power generation and grid connection control. It is mainly used for automatic synchronization (grid connection) of three-phase synchronous generators (AC generators) with the grid or bus, while supporting load sharing and power system monitoring.

It is a two-slot 1771 specification module that can be installed in a standard Allen-Bradley 1771 I/O chassis. It enables AC generators to be safely connected to the system bus by monitoring and matching parameters such as voltage, frequency and phase.

Fuctions & Features

  • The 1402-LS51 dual-slot design is compatible with the 1771 I/O rack and communicates with the PLC-5 controller through the backplane.
  • The 1402-LS51 collects voltage, frequency, and phase signals of two three-phase systems.
  • The 1402-LS51 provides analog outputs (such as power ratio signals) and error signals for adjusting the generator speed regulator.
  • The 1402-LS51 automatically starts the generator and synchronizes it to the grid when the grid is out of power, and can be used for backup power generation systems.
