Woodward 5464-213 is a Netcon serial input/output module, belonging to the Woodward 5400 series. This module acts as a bridge between the VME bus and four serial communication ports. It adopts 68030 processor architecture, has no physical switch, and only monitors the status through the FAULT LED indicator.
Function & Features
Port configuration:
- J1/J2 port: standard RS-232 interface
- J3/J4 port: supports RS-232/422/485 three protocols (38.4K/57.6K baud rate must be the same speed)
Processing architecture：
- 68030 processor: efficient management of data transmission between VME bus and serial port
- Local storage: 4KB dual-port RAM, 64KB PROM
