Product Description
TC-MUX021 is a dual-channel serial interface module for Honeywell Experion system, used to provide MODBUS protocol communication in controller or remote I/O chassis. It acts as a "bridge" between qualified third-party serial device bridge modules using MODBUS protocol and Experion controller to achieve data communication between the two.
Notes
Need to be used with FTA (Field Terminal Adapter)
Pay attention to grounding protection during installation to avoid common mode voltage interference.
Applicable to controller chassis or remote I/O chassis.

- Number of Serial Ports: 2 serial ports per Serial Interface Module (SIM) and 1 serial port per Field Wiring Assembly (FTA).
- Baud Rate: 19,200 baud is available to meet certain data rate requirements.
- Common Mode Operation: TC-MUX021 has 250 Vrms (continuous) common mode operation capability.
- Electrostatic Discharge Protection: TC-MUX021 complies with IEEE SWC 472-1974 standard for electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.
