Product Description

ICS Triplex T8153 communication interface adapter is designed to connect to the rear of a communication interface module (such as the T8151B) in a Truster controller chassis (T8100), providing a communication connection to remote systems.

The T8153 connects to the communication interface module via a 78-pin + 2-pin inverted DIN41612 M-type connector (SK1). Enclosed in a metal housing, it snaps directly onto the corresponding connector on the rear of the controller chassis.

Function & Features

  • Direct Connection: The T8153 connects to the communication interface module via a 78+2-pin inverse DIN41612 M-type connector (SK1).
  • RS485 Serial Port: The T8153 provides four independent RS485 ports (eight connectors total, each with two connectors). Each port's transmit and receive circuits feature a link-selectable 120Ω AC termination resistor.
  • RS232 Serial Port: Two connectors, Bank 1 provides a full RS232 interface, and Bank 2 provides a partial RS232 interface (including only TX, RX, RTS, and CTS connections).
