Honeywell CC-TUIO31 Universal Input/Output Module

Honeywell CC-TUIO31 is a UIO-2 series universal input/output module for Honeywell's Experion PKS series control systems. Mounted on a matching IOTA base/board, the module is field-wired via a terminal block. Software-configured, each channel on the module can be defined as analog input, analog output, digital input, or digital output.

Function & Features

• Wiring and Resistance Calculation: The CC-TUIO31 must be wired with the C Series UIO module IOTA board (including the TB1, TB2, and TB3 terminal blocks). The formula for calculating the maximum allowable field wiring resistance between the transmitter and the IOTA terminals is provided (Rmax = (19.0 - Vtx) / 0.022).

• Multiple Transmitter Types: The CC-TUIO31 supports 2-wire, 3-wire, and 4-wire transmitters. Each of the module's 32 channels is software-configurable for various functions, including but not limited to analog input.

• Non-Redundant Configuration Limitations: The CC-TUIO31 is a non-redundant UIO-2 IOTA (module base) and can only accommodate one UIO-2 module.

Specifications

Note 1: Each signal can be shorted in the field with no damage to the IOM or IOTA. Other channels on the same IOM will not be affected. AI, AO and DI channels are further protected and certified to support energy limited/nonincendive field wiring connections to Zone 2/ Division 2 hazardous locations.
