ABB NMBC-01 64079760B Modbus connection PCB board is an optional device used to connect ABB drives to a Modbus system. The module enables the drive to operate as a slave in a Modbus network, supporting operations such as control command transmission, status information reading and parameter modification via the Modbus protocol. The module uses an RS-485 interface and is suitable for integration with Modicon PLCs or other automation equipment.
Drive Control
- Send control commands (such as start, stop, run enable, etc.).
- Provide motor speed or torque reference values to the drive.
- Supply process actual values or reference values to the drive's PID controller.
Data Reading and Parameter Modification
- Read status information and actual values from the drive.
- Modify drive parameter values.
- Reset drive faults.
