GE IC200PWR002 is a 24V DC input, 3.3V/5V output backplane power module for the GE VersaMax series. It is primarily used to power the CPU, NIU (Network Interface Unit), and I/O modules.
The IC200PWR002 can be installed on a CPU or NIU module as the primary power supply, or it can be used as a secondary power supply on a power supply booster carrier.
Function & Features
- Output Specifications: The IC200PWR002 provides two output voltages, 3.3V and 5V, with a total output current of up to 1.5A. The maximum current for the 3.3V output is 1.0A, and any remaining current (e.g., 0.5A) can be allocated to the 5V output (provided the total current does not exceed 1.5A).
- Wiring and Grounding: The DC- pin must be grounded (to the frame/earth ground). Since the IC200PWR002 module internally connects the DC- pin to the frame, a floating power supply cannot be used.
- Current Limit: The total output current must not exceed 1.5A. For example, if the 3.3V output draws 1.0A, the 5V output can draw a maximum of 0.5A.
