ABB INICT13A Infi-Net To Computer Transfer Module

ABB INICT13A Infi-Net to Computer Transmission Module is part of ABB Harmony Rack hardware product line, which is mainly used to receive various data signals from Infi-Net network, such as equipment status, measurement value and control instruction. The module converts the received signal into processable electrical signal, and further converts the specific data format in Infi-Net network into standard format recognizable by computer, such as ASCII code. The processed data is transmitted to computer system through the output interface of the module. Currently, SPICT13A is recommended to replace INICT13A.

Fuctions & Features

• ABB INICT13A module first receives various data signals from the Infi-Net network, which may contain various information such as device status, measurement values, control instructions, etc. The communication interface circuit inside the module is responsible for receiving these signals and converting them into electrical signal forms that the module can process.

• The parsed data may need further processing and conversion to be able to connect to the computer system. ABB INICT13A converts the specific data format in the Infi-Net network into a standard data format that can be recognized by the computer, such as ASCII code or other common data encoding formats.

• The processed and converted data is transmitted to the computer system through the output interface of the ABB INICT13A module.
