Product Description

The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a four-channel machinery protection and condition monitoring module designed for use within the 3500 Series rack system. It accepts signals from proximity probes, velocity sensors, or accelerometers, providing precise measurements of radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, velocity, acceleration, and shaft absolute motion.

The 3500/42M continuously processes these inputs and compares them to user-defined alert and danger thresholds. When limits are exceeded, the monitor initiates alarms or trip signals to protect critical rotating equipment. Each pair of channels can be configured for different measurement functions, enabling a single module to perform two independent monitoring roles simultaneously.

This module is widely used for the protection of turbines, compressors, motors, pumps, and other rotating machinery where real-time vibration and position monitoring are essential for safe, reliable operation.

Key Features

  • Four independent input channels (configured in two pairs).

  • Supports Proximitor, velocity, or acceleration sensor inputs.

  • Real-time alarm and trip logic for machinery protection.

  • Configurable measurement modes: vibration, thrust, position, or acceleration.

  • High-resolution filtering and signal conditioning for accurate diagnostics.

  • Direct interface with the 3500 rack system for continuous monitoring.

  • Compact modular design for simplified installation and maintenance.
