Operator Input Panels (OEPs) and Integrated Keyboards (IKBs) are typically connected to the computing platform via an ISA slot, connecting to the IKB12 and/or HBC cards. With ISA slots becoming obsolete on newer computers, a need exists for an alternative method of connecting these peripherals to the station platform. The Honeywell OEP/KB Adapter allows you to connect an OEP or IKB to an available serial port, such as the port provided by a dual serial PCI card.
