The GE IS215UCVFH2A is a high-performance Universal Control Unit (UCV) controller designed for the Mark VI system. Part of GE’s Speedtronic line, the Mark VI controls gas and steam turbines. The IS215UCVFH2A manages complex control algorithms for power generation applications.

Hardware Specifications

This double-slot VME board features an Intel Pentium processor operating at 850 MHz. It includes 128 MB or 16 MB flash memory and 32 MB DRAM. The controller’s I/O capabilities are:

  • Ethernet: Two Ethernet ports (LAN 1 and LAN 2) enable network communication. LAN 1 connects to Unit Data Highway, while LAN 2 supports expansion I/O.
