GE IC670ALG310 Product Overview

The GE IC670ALG310 is an 8-point isolated analog voltage source output module that accommodates two groups(4 each)of isolated 8 voltage outputs.The module is designed for industrial automation and control systems,providing high-precision and high-reliability analog signal output.

Overrange/Underrange

If the engineering unit value sent by the host results in an output value within approximately 50mV of the module’s maximum or minimum value,the overrange/underrange indication will be triggered.

User power supply and interface

The module needs to be powered by a user power supply.

The following types of data are used:0-3 bytes of discrete input data(used to display module and channel status),0-2 bytes of discrete output data(used to clear alarms).

Module configuration and status

Each channel can be configured as active or inactive.If a channel is inactive,its output is 0V and the analog output data of that channel is not used.

The alarm(optional discrete input)data for channels configured as inactive will not be updated.If a channel’s configuration changes from Active to Inactive,the module stops updating its alarm data.

The module’s local output default value can be configured to determine whether the module sets the actual output voltage to zero volts or holds its last value when a module error occurs.

Diagnosis and alarm functions

Enhanced diagnostic capabilities easily detect over-range and under-range conditions,user power supply failures and uncalibrated modules,ensuring stable system operation.

Users can set alarm functions for different events.When the output value does not meet the 50mV requirement of the module’s maximum or minimum output setting,the module will treat the output value as under-range and over-range and trigger an alarm.
