Product Description
GE IC200ETM001 is an expansion transmitter module, primarily used to expand the I/O station of a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or NIU (Network Interface Unit), with up to 7 additional module "racks" connected, each expansion rack can accommodate up to 8 I/O modules and specialized modules (such as digital/analog I/O, fieldbus modules).
Function & Features
- Expansion connection: The IC200ETM001 front end is equipped with a 26-pin D-type female connector as an expansion port for connecting expansion receiver modules (Expansion Receiver Module). Two types of receiver modules are supported: isolated (*ERM001) and non-isolated (*ERM002).
- Expansion bus length limit: If there is a non-isolated receiver module (*ERM002) on the bus, the maximum length is 15 meters; when only an isolated receiver module (*ERM001) is used, the maximum length can reach 750 meters.
- Data rate configuration: The IC200ETM001 default data rate is 250Kbits/second, supporting the maximum length of the expansion cable; if the total length of the expansion cable is less than 250 meters and there is no *ERM002 module, the data rate can be configured to 1Mbit/second. In the NIU I/O station, the data rate is fixed to the default 250Kbits/second and cannot be changed.
