The 1753-L28BBBP controller is an Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation GuardPLC series industrial controller. It can support a Profibus DP slave communication module with its RS-485 COMM 1 port. The 1753-L28BBBP controller has 250 KB of application data memory and another 250 KB of user program memory. The environmental protection rating of this controller is IP 20. The 1753-L28BBBP controller features 8 outputs that are not electrically isolated and 20 inputs that are not electrically isolated.

It is built according to the IEC 61508 (SIL 3) and ISO 13849-1 (PLe/Cat. 4) standards to feature a fail-safe CPU. This controller is used to detect faults that can cause loss of safety functions within the safety time you program. The Allen-Bradley 1754-L28BBB reacts differently to different kinds of errors but it always tends to react in a safety-related way.
