ICS Triplex T8800 Digital Input Field Termination Assembly

ICS Triplex T8800 is a 40-channel 24 VDC digital input field terminal assembly. The T8800 serves as the primary interface between various field devices generating digital inputs and the Trusted TMR 24 VDC digital input module, providing terminal connections for up to 40 input channels from various field devices.

Field power is supplied by dual 24 VDC power rails, shared through diodes on the terminal assembly. A green LED indicates power status. Power is supplied to each channel through a 50 mA fuse. Input signals from field devices are connected directly to the digital input module.

Function & Features

• The cables connecting the 40 channels of the T8800 input module to the terminal assembly are terminated via the 96-pin receptacle SK1. The module's SmartSlot (version 1) signals are also connected to SK1. SmartSlot connector SK2 is also a 96-pin receptacle (if the system uses SmartSlot version 2, SK2 is not used).

• The dual DC field power supply is connected via the 5-pin terminal block PWR TB. The 40 field input signals are connected via a 2-wire system and terminated on 12 3-way terminal blocks and 2 2-way terminal blocks.

• The T8800 uses SmartSlot (version 1) connections and supports "one-to-many" hot swapping of input modules.
