Product Description
ABB MPM810 is a module dedicated to the condition monitoring and protection of rotating machinery, suitable for real-time health management of industrial key equipment (such as turbines, compressors, motors, etc.). The module can be installed in a centralized location or a remote location. Communication with the module is done through the onboard Profibus and Ethernet interfaces, and both communication ports can be used for monitoring and configuration.
Fuctions & Features
- Independent monitoring equipment: has the ability to independently monitor the mechanical state.
- Provide monitoring and protection functions:
- Vibration monitoring: monitors mechanical vibration.
- Eccentricity monitoring: monitors the eccentricity of the machine.
- Thrust (rotor) position monitoring: monitors the thrust position of the rotor.
- Differential (relative) expansion monitoring: monitors relative expansion.
- Casing (absolute) expansion monitoring: monitors the absolute expansion of the casing.
- Rich sensor interfaces:
- Proximity (eddy current) probe: used to measure parameters such as distance.
- Moving element speed probe: measures the speed of the moving element.
- Piezoelectric speed probe: measures speed-related parameters.
- Accelerometer: measures acceleration.
- DC linear variable differential transformer (DC LVDT): measures displacement and other parameters.
