GE IS200FHVBG1ABA is a high voltage gate input board developed by GE Mark VI for the EX2100 excitation control system. The EX2100 excitation control system is a cutting-edge platform in the field of generator excitation. In addition to the transformer, the system also includes a number of controllers, power bridges and protection modules. It is suitable for new and modified steam, gas and water turbine generators, and can provide them with a complete static excitation solution.

Fuctions & Features

• Excitation current generation and control: The GE IS200FHVBG1ABA, EX2100 excitation control (EX2100 or exciter) generates excitation current to control the AC terminal voltage and/or reactive volt-ampere of the generator.

• High voltage interface function: The high voltage interface (HVI) of the GE IS200FHVBG1ABA covers the AC and DC bus and line filter fuses, and there are two terminal blocks for providing bridge feedback to the control and EXAM boards. These interfaces and components ensure the effective connection and signal interaction between the high voltage part and other control and monitoring parts of the system, ensuring the stable operation of the entire excitation control system.

• Operation mode switching and protection function: The control can switch between two modes: generator voltage regulation (automatic regulation) and direct control (voltage or current control according to the application).
