Product Description
ICS Triplex T8151 is a gateway module for Trusted® control systems. Its main function is to enable PC-based applications to interact with Trusted control systems and act as a bridge between the controller and external devices (such as client networks, PC applications). T8151 can operate without peripherals (keyboard/display).
Network configuration: If forced arbitration is required, set to 10BaseT full-duplex mode.
Security Recommendation: Enable encryption and authentication functions of the OPC server in critical systems.
Function & Features
Dual network connection:
T8151 is used as the interface between the Trusted system and external PC applications, and is connected to the communication interface (T8151) of the inter-module bus (IMB) via 100Base-T Ethernet.
T8151 is equipped with two Ethernet ports (10/100 Base-T) and one RS-232 serial port, of which the second Ethernet port and serial port are used to connect to the client network.
Operating system and configuration method:
T8151 has a built-in full Microsoft Windows XP operating system license and supports running Windows-based applications.
T8151 can remotely operate the module's communication configuration and application loading through the remote desktop function of other networked devices (running Windows XP).
