Woodward 8440-1809 generator controller is a second generation generator controller belonging to the easYgen series. It is equipped with a large graphic LCD display, modular I/O configuration, and a series of innovative smart technologies such as FlexAppTM, DynamicsLCDTM, etc.
Function & Features
- Application configuration: 8440-1809 has FlexAppTM technology and 4 application modes, which can configure the easYgen-1000 series as measurement sensor/engine control, 1 circuit breaker control, 1 circuit breaker control with backup power application, 2 circuit breaker control with AMF and open circuit conversion application, etc.
- Graphical display: 8440-1809 uses DynamicsLCDTM technology, 128×64 pixel graphic interactive LCD display, and provides soft keys that change according to application and operation.
- Multiple communication functions: FlexCANTM provides isolated CAN bus, CANopen or CAN (CAL) can be selected, supports connection of easYlite remote signal devices and third-party expansion cards, and also supports J1939 protocol, which can be coupled with ECU to realize alarm management and remote start and stop.
- Others: 8440-1809 supports diesel/gas engine start/stop logic and engine preheating or purge control. It has kilowatt-hour meter and kilowatt-hour meter, which can record the number of running hours, number of starts and maintenance times. It can also configure trip level, delay and alarm category, etc.
