Honeywell 10005/1/1 Watchdog Module
Product Description
Honeywell 10005/1/1 watchdog module is a protection module for system operation safety monitoring and fault emergency control. It determines whether the control system is operating properly by monitoring three core parameters: application cycle execution time (maximum/minimum), power supply voltage, and CPU/COM/MEM module memory errors. If any parameter exceeds the safe range, the module immediately disconnects the watchdog output (WDG OUT).
The Honeywell 10005/1/1 module itself uses a 2-out-of-3 voting system to fully test the function. The maximum output current is 900 mA. If the load current demand exceeds the limit, a watchdog repeater (WDR, 10302/1/1) is required to share the load.

- Maximum Application Cycle Execution Time: The Honeywell 10005/1/1 checks whether the processor is executing the program correctly and not stuck in an infinite loop (hang).
- Minimum Application Cycle Execution Time: The Honeywell 10005/1/1 checks whether the processor is executing the program correctly and not skipping sections (runaway).
- Memory Error Logic: The Honeywell 10005/1/1 receives memory error signals from the CPU, COM (communication), and MEM (memory) modules. If an error occurs, it immediately de-energizes the watchdog output.
- Front-End Interface: The Honeywell 10005/1/1 module must be front-end connected to the 10005/O/1 module or the S-BUS (system bus) at the top of the central rack.
