ABB DI880 3BSE028586R1 Digital Input HI S/R 16 Ch Module

ABB DI880 3BSE028586R1 is a 16-channel, 24V DC digital input module that can be used in single or redundant configurations. Its input voltage range is 18 to 30V DC, and the input current is 7mA at 24V DC. Each input channel includes current limiting components, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) protection components, input status indication LEDs, and optical isolation barriers. Each input has a current-limited sensor power output.

The module has a sequence of events (SOE) function that can collect events with a resolution of 1 millisecond, the event queue can accommodate up to 512 x 16 events, and the function also includes a mask filter for suppressing unnecessary events. The SOE function can report status such as channel value, queue full, synchronization jitter, time uncertainty, mask filter activation, and channel error in the event message.

Function

• COMLI protocol: CI853K01 can be used on the built-in COM3 port and CI853 port, based on RS-232C serial communication. Suitable for asynchronous master/slave half-duplex data transmission between controllers, supports application-controlled dial-up modems, and CI853 supports both master/slave mode under this protocol.

• MODBUS RTU protocol: It is an open serial protocol (based on RS-232, etc.), master/slave architecture, half-duplex communication. Both the AC 800M COM port and CI853 can configure their functions, but module redundancy is not available under this protocol.

Features

• Siemens 3964R: Can be used on the built-in COM3 port and CI853 port, requires a standard RS-232C/485 communication channel, and is conducive to working with Siemens related devices that adopt this protocol.

• Customized serial communication: CI853K01 can be used on the built-in COM3 port and CI853 port of the AC 800M controller to meet users' special and customized serial communication needs.
