Woodward 9907-167 505E Digital Governor is a device used to control extraction, extraction/inlet or inlet steam turbines. It coordinates the operation of the high pressure (HP) and low pressure (LP) regulating valves to control the speed (or load) and extraction/inlet pressure (or flow). It can also be used to control or limit other turbine-related process parameters such as turbine inlet pressure or flow.
Function & Features
1.9907-167 supports all types of steam turbines:
- Extraction steam turbine: 9907-167 controls steam output through LP valve (equipped with check valve to prevent backflow).
- Supplementary steam turbine: 9907-167 allows low-pressure steam to enter through LP valve (equipped with stop valve/quick-close valve to ensure safety).
- Extraction/Supplementary steam turbine: bidirectionally adjust steam flow according to system requirements.
2. Triple control channels:
- Speed/load controller: main control channel
- Auxiliary controller: also serves as secondary control or limiting channel
- Cascade controller: directly adjusts speed setting value
