Product Description
ABB DI830 is a 16-channel 24 V DC digital input module for the S800 I/O system. It accepts an input voltage range of 18 to 30 V DC and has a current consumption of 6 mA at 24 V DC. Each input channel includes current limiting components, EMC protection, input status indication LEDs, and an optical isolation barrier. The DI830 module monitors process power, detects full event queues, and checks for lack of time synchronization, all of which can trigger warnings. The module also features digital input signal filtering with a customizable filter time range of 0 to 100 milliseconds, enabling it to filter out short pulses and pass on longer pulses.
