ABB IMDSI02 digital slave input module is a key component in the Infi 90 process management system. Its main function is to introduce 16 independent digital signals from field devices (such as contact closers, switches or solenoids) into the system for processing and monitoring, to interface field inputs with the system, and to support the automation and control of various industrial processes.
Fuctions & Features
- Single PCB architecture: The ABB IMDSI02 module is designed with a single printed circuit board (PCB) and is a standalone unit that only occupies one slot in the module mounting unit (MMU).
- LED status indication: The ABB IMDSI02 module front panel is equipped with 16 LED indicators, corresponding to two groups (A and B) of input channels.
- Multi-connector design: The module has three card edge connectors, P1, P2, and P3. The P1 connector connects the common ground and provides + 5 VDC power to the module. The P2 connector connects the module to the slave expansion bus. The P3 connector is connected to the terminal unit (TU) or terminal module (TM) through a cable.
