Product Description
Honeywell 900S75S-0460 I/O Scanner 2 module is a remote I/O scanning module specifically designed for redundant control systems. It is deployed in a remote I/O rack and features two I/O connections: I/O A connects to CPU-A of the redundant controller rack, and I/O B connects to CPU-B.
The module is responsible for acquiring data from input modules and transmitting it to the main controller, while also receiving output commands from the main controller and distributing them to the corresponding output modules.
Function & Features
Dual I/O Channels (I/O A and I/O B)
I/O A connects to CPU-A of the redundant controller rack, while I/O B connects to CPU-B. In the event of a controller failure, the system automatically switches to the standby channel.
Rack Address Configuration
The 900S75S-0460 configures its rack address via DIP switches located on the module, allowing users to define the module's identity within the system.
