Product Description
The 8C-PDODA1 51454472-175 is a 24V DC bus-based digital output (DO) module that is part of the Experion LX Distributed Control System (DCS) 8-Series I/O family. It supports FAILOPT parameters and can be configured per channel. Its digital outputs use a 24VDC bus architecture (DO24V) and can control actuators (such as solenoid valves, relays, motor starters, etc.).
Function & Features
- Output mode: 8C-PDODA1 supports direct/reverse output (source/sink). Each channel can be independently configured as latch, pulse or pulse width modulation (PWM) output.
- Safe state (FAILOPT) behavior: Each channel of 8C-PDODA1 can set fault handling separately, keep the last state (HOLD): maintain the current output in case of fault. Switch to safe state (SAFE): force output safety value (configurable to 0 or 1) in case of fault.
- Power excitation: 8C-PDODA1 is a bus output device, all outputs share a common return (ground), and its power supply can come from the system power supply or from an externally connected 24V power supply.
