Product Description
Honeywell 900A16-0103 is a high-level analog input module that supports 16 independently configurable voltage or current inputs. Each channel can be independently configured as a voltage or current input (customizable by the user point by point). The module has three status indicators:
Green (flashing): The module is operating normally and scanning.
Yellow (flashing): The channel is forced (simulation/test mode).
Red: Module failure.
Function & Features
- Input Configuration: The 900A16-0103 has a built-in 250Ω shunt resistor (enabled via DIP switch) to facilitate current signal measurement.
- Data Processing: The analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion is performed in synchronization with the CPU to eliminate data latency. All input signals are processed in parallel, so system scan time remains unchanged when extension modules are added.
- Wiring Method: The 900A16-0103 utilizes a 36-pin European-type terminal connector.
- Dual Calibration Mode: Model 900A16-0103 supports both factory calibration and field (on-site) calibration.
