ABB IMMFP02 Multi-Function Processor Module

ABB IMMFP02 Multi-Function Processor (MFP) module is one of the core components of the INFI 90® control module family. It is a multi-loop analog, sequential control, batch, and advanced controller that provides a powerful solution to process control problems. The module supports a comprehensive set of function codes to handle the most complex control strategies. The INFI 90 system uses a variety of analog and digital I/O modules to communicate and control the process, and the MFP module can communicate with up to 64 modules.

Fuctions & Features

• Core control function: The microprocessor runs at a frequency of 16 MHz and serves as the core of the ABB IMMFP02 module, driving the overall function. It can process operating system instructions and the functional code library stored in ROM, control and coordinate all functional blocks in the module, and achieve comprehensive control of the system.

• Clock and task scheduling function: The ABB IMMFP02 clock part provides a variety of clock signals, which not only drives the processor at 16 MHz, but also generates low-order clock signals for onboard serial communication and task scheduling.

• Data storage and processing function: ROM stores operating system instructions and provides basic support for the normal operation of the ABB IMMFP02 microprocessor.

• Signal processing function: ABB IMMFP02 can process analog and digital signals at the same time, which can meet the data interaction requirements of different types of sensors and actuators.
