ABB SDCS-PIN-41A 3BSE004939R1 3ADT220090R0005 pulse transformer module is a power interface component for DCS (Distributed Control System) converter modules and is suitable for converters of type A5/A6/A7 and C4 with a current range from 900 A to 5200 A. The module consists of two boards: the measurement board SDCS-PIN-51 and the pulse transformer board SDCS-PIN-41. The SDCS-PIN-41A is standard for converters delivered since 1998 and fully replaces earlier converter modules. Since mid-2005, converters have been equipped with the SDCS-PIN-48 module as an upgrade replacement for the SDCS-PIN-41.

Fuctions & Features
- SDCS-PIN-41A measures the main AC input current through a current transformer and scales it to the rated current 1.5 V through diode bridge rectification and load resistance.
- SDCS-PIN-41A measures voltage through a high-resistance resistor chain (U1, V1, W1, C1(+) and D1(-)).
- SDCS-PIN-41A supports hardware encoding and current zero point detection.
- SDCS-PIN-41A supports rated current adjustment by cutting resistors (R1...R21) and voltage scaling by cutting short-circuit wires (low-resistance resistors).
- SDCS-PIN-41A can completely replace the converter modules used earlier.
- The actual voltage signal of the main circuit (U1, V1, W1, C1(+) and D1(-)) is not completely electrically isolated from the control board, and a current of less than 1 mA will flow to ground.
