Honeywell FS-SDO-0824 Safe Digital Output Module

Honeywell FS-SDO-0824 is a safety digital output module designed for industrial applications that require safe shutdown control. It provides 8 channels (divided into 2 groups, 4 channels each), each with a freewheeling diode to suppress reverse voltage shocks of inductive loads. 24V DC output, maximum 550mA per channel, maximum load power 13W, supports resistive loads (such as indicator lights) and inductive loads (such as relays, solenoid valves).

Function & Features

• The output section of the FS-SDO-0824, including the suppression diode, is fully tested and suitable for safety-related applications.

• The FS-SDO-0824 performs multiple tests on the outputs, such as the ability to disconnect power, the ability to disconnect the group by secondary means, crosstalk between outputs, and the function of the suppression diode, to detect faults in a timely manner.

• Each group of 4 outputs is equipped with an independent secondary disconnect circuit, and the FS-SDO-0824 can still safely shut down the outputs in the group when a single channel fails.
