Product Description
Honeywell 10300/1/1 is a DC/DC converter used to convert an input voltage of 24 Vdc to an output voltage of 5 Vdc to power the internal modules of the FSC system. The supply voltage of the FSC system is 24 Vdc, which can be provided by a factory 24 Vdc supply system with battery backup. The converter provides galvanic isolation between the two supply voltages.

Function & Features
- The 10300/1/1 module has a built-in NTC resistor as an inrush current limiter to prevent the module from generating current at the moment of power-on, but it should be noted that the module must be kept offline for at least 30 seconds before it can be online again.
- The accuracy requirements of the 5 Vdc power supply are very strict, limited to within ±5%, so the module must be placed close to the system bus and the sense line must be used correctly, using short wires with appropriate wire diameters to minimize voltage drops on the line.
- The 10300/1/1 module specifies the minimum wire diameter requirements for the "5 VDC power supply" and "5 VDC ground" connected to the central part of the system bus to carry different currents: when the current is up to 8 A, the wire diameter must be 2.5 mm² (AWG 14); when the current is up to 12 A, the wire diameter must be 6 mm² (AWG 10).
