ABB SDCS-PIN-4-COAT 3ADT314100R1001 is a power interface board designed for DCS800 series inverter modules (size D1 to D4+, current range 20 A to 1190 A). It supports main power input from 230 VAC to 525/600 VAC. It automatically adapts to 230 VAC or 115 VAC auxiliary voltage. It is the core component of the drive system with power supply, control and measurement functions, suitable for industrial DC drive applications (such as rolling mills, cranes, extruders, etc.

Fuctions & Features

Multiple power supplies: Provides power for all small voltages of the entire drive and connection options (D1-D4+).

Armature bridge control: Control of the armature bridge is achieved by including high-resistance measurement of DC and AC voltages and providing an interface for current transformers to measure the armature current (D1-D4+).

Excitation control and measurement: Controls the onboard exciter and performs excitation current measurement (D1-D4.

Automatic adjustment: The DCS800 provides automatic adjustment for current and voltage measurement, load resistance setting, and 2-Q or 4-Q operation by setting parameters in the firmware.

Voltage adaptation and switching: The SDCS-PIN-4 automatically adapts to the auxiliary voltage of 230 VAC or 115 VAC, switching relay K301 when jumper setting S1=1-2. If the 230 VAC input voltage varies (e.g. diesel generator network), the operation can be fixed to 230 VAC by setting jumper S1 = 2-3.
