Emerson A6740 16-Channel Output Relay Module

Emerson A6740 16-channel output relay module is a relay designed for use with the CSI 6500 Machinery Health Monitor. The CSI 6500 Machinery Health Monitor system to which the Emerson A6740 belongs is part of PlantWeb® and AMS Suite. PlantWeb integrates machinery health with Ovation® and DeltaV™ process control systems. It is used to build a complete API 670-compliant machinery protection system for critical rotating machinery such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, and hydro turbines.

• Diverse interfaces: The Emerson A6740 module has 60 inputs, 30 logic expressions and 16 relay outputs, suitable for a variety of signal input and logic control needs.

• Selectivity: The Emerson A6740 module can select the clear, alarm or alarm signal of any channel as input, and complete the configuration through Boolean logic, applying time delay and selecting output relays.

• Adaptation: The Emerson A6740 module is a 12TE wide module suitable for the IMR6000 series rack, and the 6740-10 is a 10TE wide module suitable for the IMR6500 series rack, which can be well adapted to different series of racks.

• Monitoring and protection: The Emerson A6740 module cooperates with systems such as CSI 6500 to comprehensively monitor and protect key rotating machinery in the factory. When the monitored signal is abnormal, the corresponding control signal can be output through the relay in time according to the set logic and threshold.
